FAQS

Q:  Who are "Mom & Pop "?

A:  We're real live AARP-carrying Old Farts that have been married right at about 16 years now.  We've been selling tattoo equipment and piercing supplies as a licensed business here in Texas since 2011.  As  of October 2014 we  started the process of moving from our home in Lexington to a new retail site in Killeen.   We do this for a living because we love tattoos and piercings, and we love each other and working together!  Tim and Irene are our "real" names, but Mom and Pop are the nicknames we've been given.   Pop's passed away in March of 2016.  But it is still Mom & Pop's Tattoo Supply.  He will forever be missed and added a personal touch to the business, he was a real character!  I am still looking forward to providing you with the best products and service that I can and look forward to helping new artist and providing products to our old friends.

Q:  What do you sell?

A:  Most of what we have for sale is geared towards professional tattoo artists working in professional tattoo shops.  We sell to artists we trust, and who trust us to get them what they need and want when they want it, at the best possible price.   If you're looking for something particular, and  and we don't carry it -- yet -- just let us know.  Special orders are no problem!   We also carry a wide selection of piercing items, too, such as needles, sterile supplies, jewelry, and more.   For best selection, drop by the shop and see what's new on the shelves.

Q:  How can I order supplies from Tattoo Supply Zone?

A.  If our online store is totally up and running smoothly, you'll be able to pay using PayPal, debit, credit, or money orders.  Best thing to do until that happens is to FIRST call/text  us at 254-702-0274 when you need supplies and we can give you price quotes and delivery particulars.

Q:   What's the shipping situation particulars?

A:  Most prices listed on the site are your SHIPPED COST.  We use USPS Priority Mail, which provides the fastest, most secure, and cheapest 2-4 business day delivery possible.  Order by 3 PM (CST) and we can usually get your order out that day.  The exceptions to postage free listed shipping prices includes especially heavy items such as green soap or calvicide gallon bottles, dental bibs, and cases of gloves,   Call for details.  Local deliveries in the Killeen area are made every Friday evening, unless noted.  Texas residents will be charged 8.2% sales tax as required by law.

Q:  What's your return/exchange policy?

A:  We always want to check out or demonstrate whatever we sell in order to ensure the customer is satisfied with what they're getting at the time of purchase.   A receipt is always offered, so there will be no questions later as to purchases or prices.  If you are dissatisfied with your purchase within 3 days, let us know by phone or email at TATTOO SUPPLY ZONE.  We  will exchange/replace/refund items under most circumstances, as requested, to ensure your continued confidence in our desire to maintain the friendliest, most honest, and professional business relationships with all our customers.

Q: Why DO YOU DO IT, Mom and poPs?

A:  Anyone can poke themselves or someone else  with a needle or staple covered with Bic ink, stuck on the eraser end of a pencil, and give themselves a really painful "tattoo" of sorts (and maybe a nasty infection) OR.... pay a picked-at-random professional artist $100/hour to do their work for them.   SOMETIMES it's worth it, sometimes not, either way.  It is what it is, it is what you make of it.  It depends if you're  getting or giving, what kind of experience it's gonna be, no matter what.

Yes, you can almost always count on professional results when you get tattooed by a professional... and here you can ALSO count on our Personal Attention to your  tattooing  needs, questions, and concerns. Let us share together our tribal-artform addiction-collections.  Whatever.   Roses. Skulls.  Whatever.  Our motto is "THERE'S NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE".  However you got or gave, if you both liked it -- that's OK.  Everyone starts out somewhere, and we hope to encourage ARTISTS of all styles and skill levels.  Our thinking is "the cleaner, the better", and that it is at all possible we will support ALL ARTISTS.  I'd rather give you a pair of gloves than see you not use any!

No matter what your "artistic skills" presently may or may not be, with talent and patience most people CAN learn to create some good looking and satisfyingtattoos on yourself and others... IF you  have the right equipment.  We offer you the tools you need AND will freely share our knowledge and stories. We love to talk tattooing!  All YOU need to do now is  call or email us for more details regarding any tattooing/equipment piercing/body jewelryquestions you may have -- EVEN IF you don't intend to buy anything.  I started tattooing in 1972 and have sat over 100 times to be professionally tattooed. My wife Irene has been "under the  machine" about half that many times (?!! -- NONE of which she had before we met 20 years ago) herself.   Yeah, we more than just "LIKE" tattoos.   Selling professional tattooing equipment and body piercing jewelry  stuff is WHAT WE DO FOR A LIVING. We're your local Newbie/Amateur/Apprentice/Professional Tattoo Artist "ADVOCATES" and promote the practice of responsible adults doing their tattooing using clean/sterile equipment rather than home made "jailhouse-type" rigs.

BIG RED PRINT:YOU MUST BE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN years of age to purchase or view anything further on this website.  Equipment purchased here may require a license to operate commercially in your State.  Do not use, on yourself or others, any tattooing or piercing equipment while "under the influences".   You are advised that the equipment offered on this website will be sold AS IS, and with our mutual  understanding that it is to be used entirely at your own personal risk only, and, that individual results may vary.
